Advanced Centered Riding Clinic with Susan Harris

The focus is using Centered Riding to develop an independent and effective seat in the rider’s discipline. Due to the progressive nature of the clinic, participants must attend both sessions and be able to safely ride in a small group.

Day 1 consists of CR groundwork exercises and assessment of movement followed by evaluation of rider needs in small groups. Additionally, riders will have the opportunity to discuss their individual goals. At the end of Day 1 riders will receive and individual plan for groundwork and riding for Day 2.
Day 2 is split into 2 parts. It starts with small group rides and rotations into groundwork groups based on assessment. The rest of the day is devoted to semi private rides to solidify the techniques presented to each individual. The day will finish with a final evaluation based on the assessment completed on the morning of Day 1. Auditors may attend one or both days.
